Street Food: International Inspiration
We have eaten some great street food: satays in Singapore, laksa in Malaysia, banana pancakes in northern Thailand, porchetta rolls at a weekly market and pizza by a lakeshore in Italy, souvlaki in Athens, sardines by the Bosporus in Istanbul, soft tacos (and margaritas!) by the beach in Mexico, smokies with sauerkraut in Vancouver (long before the street food craze really hit). What do these dishes have in common? They're fresh, fast, full of flavour and just very real. Somehow the accompanying smells, tastes, sights & sounds all seem amplified when you're eating street food.
Our street food inspired menu is here. These dishes can be served in many different ways: combined to form a trendy buffet, as different international themed stalls at events (e.g. festivals, markets, sporting events, balls), as bowl food at stand-up receptions. And there's no reason a wedding breakfast couldn't be inspired by street food dishes.
Pricing will vary depending on the event, and will be based on:
