Summer Birthday Party

It could hardly have been a more perfect day for a birthday barbecue. The sun shone brightly, the garden was full of family and friends, and a certain British tennis player won Wimbledon!

On the barbecue:

• Vietnamese lemongrass chicken
• Moroccan lamb kebabs
• Monkfish, pancetta & rosemary skewers 
• Portobello mushrooms with a gorgonzola & thyme stuffing (V)

Accompaniments:

• Rocket & mini plum tomato salad with parmesan shavings & a balsamic vinaigrette
• New potato, sun-dried tomato & basil salad
• Broad bean, pea & feta salad with mint
• Black bean, roasted pepper, sweetcorn, coriander & lime salad
• Artisan breads & butter

Dessert:

• Chocolate oblivion with raspberry coulis
• Pavlova with chantilly cream, fresh strawberries & mango coulis (pictured)
